Welcome back to the Sisterhood beautiful and all powerful WOMAN!

You are here because you are experiencing TRANSFORMATION.

We are an empowering and ever changing, diverse and growing universe of women. While being a woman it is important that you know that you have the right to make an educated choice about your food. What you eat can impact your mood; your reactions, your lifestyle choices, your ability to sleep and so much more.

In this time of uncertainty, we must acknowledge our food and diet challenges. Sometimes when we are discussing our dietary needs and challenges with a loved one, we can get discouraged to move in the direction we want. You're experiencing mood changes daily while being in quarantine and food simply isn't cutting it. It's time to speak to a food educator who can provide you with great food guidance with research for you. When I approached my GP on my stress management, hair fall out, skin changes and overall low mood, she simply told me to take it easy and prescribed me antidepressants. I never went back to her again. I kept in touch with Kiran and started interacting her on Instagram while she was sharing her wellness journey. Coincidentally this was a few months before my wedding and I immediately took action. We worked together to rebuild my mindset about food. I felt healthier, my skin was glowing and even though I was exhausted mentally from the wedding prep, I had the energy my body needed to keep me going. I took control of my body and I have Kiran to thank for that. I’m inviting all of you to meet Kiran because she has helped me make an educated decision about my body and I have transformed!

So that we can help you further, please answer these questions:

  • Are you ready to take control of your body?
  • What are the major challenges you've had with your health?
  • Do you ever feel frustrated when you are purchasing healthy grocery items?
  • Are you feeling low while eating all the right things? Are you still following the food pyramid?
  • What does your fridge and pantry contain? Name all ingredients and items.
  • Are you sleeping well?
  • Are you snacking more?

Do not worry, I know a WOMAN who you will be e-meeting with all the information on bettering your IMMUNE SYSTEM. Put your hands together to welcome my co-host Kiran Kalsi Malik for our ‘DEAR BODY’ Workshop next week on Wednesday. April 1st. She will be sharing her 4 PRINCIPLES along with personal experiences and knowledge. Use the right FOOD as FUEL and make an IMPACT.

A little background on Kiran and my relationship:

Food Educator Kiran Kalsi Malik and I met over 3 years ago during her wedding. While consulting with Kiran for her bridal henna diary, I felt an energy that I wanted to further explore and a relationship that I wanted to build. While I was planning my wedding, I witnessed changes in my mood, gained weight and lost my appetite to simply enjoy the feeling of being a Bride. Kiran changed my life & I have shared this journey with my group of friends. Your relationship with your body will change and you will face challenges. If you're ready, JOIN US.

TUNE IN Wednesday. April 1st at 11:00 EST (Canada & US) to e-meet Kiran & regain control of your body.

Be sure to FOLLOW me on Instagram for more stories and daily insight on how you can better yourself. Trust me, it’s not easy. I too go through challenges on a daily, but I’m here for you with my sisterhood of empowering women. WE ARE HERE TOGETHER.

Are you ready to take control of your body?
Yes yes yes
What are the major challenges you've had with your health?
Weight gain over the years, it’s like my body isint handling the same food anymore and it feels weird for me to cut down on what’s been working for me. Recently I have been in transition so no school or a job so I’ve just been at home and that’s caused even faster weight gain! I want to be able to fit into the clothes I have and not buy new ones. I want to feel confident again especially that annoying face fat and abdomen fat!
Do you ever feel frustrated when you are purchasing healthy grocery items?
I feel excited to try something I may love and will be healthier for me but omg there are thousands of things out there and you’ll find these products that are gluten free and then it’s like “wait do I even need gluten or not?” You can’t tell if you are eating healthy unless it’s a plant haha
Are you feeling low while eating all the right things? Are you still following the food pyramid?
For sure not following the food pyramid or that food plate diagrams you see. Whenever I do cut our carbs or sugar I do cranky in the start.
What does your fridge and pantry contain?
I live with my in-laws currently so a lot of unnessary items that temp me but are there for other people in the house. We have a lot of meat, vegetables of all kinds (we are all going a veggie juice thing everyday) snacks in the pantry and just whatever left over food we have! Oh and a lot of fruits!
Eggs, bread white and brown, milk 2%, bagels, margarine, left over brown food that was made. I also always keep cut up chicken breast pieces and throw spices on them and add them to the air fryer sometimes if I don’t want to eat too unhealthy! For fruit it’s usually, strawberries, blueberries, peaches, apples, oranges, mandarins, bananas. These are everyday fruits and sometimes we will get others depending on the seasons like kiwis, pears or cherries. Grapes too sometimes. In the pantry are masalas, popcorn, gummy snacks, those fruit cup dole things, cookies or crackers, cereal, chickpeas(I’ll make chaat sometimes). We have boxes of those small chips. This gluten free icecream. My mother in-law packs the whole house haha.
Name all ingredients and items.
Are you sleeping well?
I can sleep 14 hours and still wake up tired. It’s been like this for years. I never get quality sleep, I’ve even tried melatonin. I don’t dream so that makes me think I never enter rem sleep.
Are you snacking more?
Always. I’m obsessed with tv and snacking. I must always be having something even if it’s coffee or a fruit.
