What you eat can impact your mood; your reactions, your lifestyle choices, your ability to sleep and so much more.
In this time of uncertainty, we must acknowledge our food and diet challenges. Sometimes when we are discussing our dietary needs and challenges with a loved one, we can get discouraged to move in the direction we want. You're experiencing mood changes daily while being in quarantine and food simply isn't cutting it. It's time to speak to a food educator who can provide you with great food guidance with research for you. When I approached my GP on my stress management, hair fall out, skin changes and overall low mood, she simply told me to take it easy and prescribed me antidepressants. I never went back to her again. I kept in touch with Kiran and started interacting her on Instagram while she was sharing her wellness journey. Coincidentally this was a few months before my wedding and I immediately took action. We worked together to rebuild my mindset about food. I felt healthier, my skin was glowing and even though I was exhausted mentally from the wedding prep, I had the energy my body needed to keep me going. I took control of my body and I have Kiran to thank for that. I’m inviting all of you to meet Kiran because she has helped me make an educated decision about my body and I have transformed!

You are here because you have a purpose; not only do you exist but you belong. You are more than you know and I am here with you, creating along the journey to find the answers. If you are in need of a sisterhood, I have put together a weekly 'Love Letter' for you and your community. If you are in need of a reminder to acknowledge your presence, strengthen your communication in being vulnerable and need a sisterhood, this workshop is for you.
We are an ever growing community of women who are built from strength, compassion and have the capacity to adapt to change. As we complete the tenth week of quarantine, I would like to suggest that we all take a moment to appreciate how far we have come. Let us face the patriarchal routines with our feminine powers and decipher new challenges with solutions for our betterment. We must remember that there is a force inside us that has been waiting in our hearts with unconditional love and she has been patient. Let us hear her speak.

To my woman of influence, Shreya Patel thank you for raising awareness in this world with your Art, compassion and radical empathy. This conversation will be about how to keep faith while expressing your emotions and change through creativity. How do we connect with our community to amplify our message of change? Shreya is a documentary film maker, actress, writer, dancer and human right's activist. Her documentary GIRL UP has won many awards and has been seen nationally at many film festivals.
