DNA PROJECT

Welcome back to our sacred community of womxn.
You are here today because you are free.

We live in a world with divine beings who have successfully taken control of their subconsciousness amidst their high performing lives. We have have been told that these incredible beings are titled; WOMXN.

As womxn, we have hid our powers for too long.
We have a responsibility to enlighten and encourage our sisters with bravery to adopt a new way of living; a life where their voices pave the path for our future sisterhood. The current continuation of dialogue surrounding empathy, compassion and intuition have been trending like pop culture. We must remember that these are not modern day elements, which suddenly have been created and rendered into our modern day beliefs. These are our values, our sacred gemstones and offerings from our ancestors and beloved mother earth.

The journey of the divine began centuries ago with our ancestors and their alignment in the stars. As the sun and moon hold wisdom and truth to our eternal powers, guidance also comes from learned experiences and community. My journey with the Love Letter Community developed in the early stages of my teenage years. I developed an uneasy distance to the teachings of my own cultural upbringings. I had many questions because I was never a conventional thinker. My participation in society was bold, full of passion & all my friends were boys. I maintained a distance with womxn for so long till we traveled closer to Toronto.

Meeting women like Mita Patel out of sheer delight and curiosity for one another's work, we built our relationship in an intimate setting without any foundation except that we were both inquisitive. Mita is my WCW for our workshop this week along with an incredible writer. Her blog 'She comes undone' is a publication of wonder and growth; learnings and great values. This week, I want you to encourage yourself to meet someone new, build a new connection and dive into a deep conversation without any barriers.

We are an ever growing community of womxn who are built from strength, compassion and have the capacity to adapt to change. As we enter the nineteeth week of quarantine, I would like to suggest that we all take a moment to appreciate how far we have come. Let us face the patriarchal routines with our feminine powers and decipher new challenges with solutions for our betterment. We must remember that there is a force inside us that has been waiting in our hearts with unconditional love and she has been patient. Let us hear her speak.

'DEAR JOURNEY.'

Picture

The problem wasn't in not finding the right womxn, but to learn how to trust (we moved quite a bit throughout Ontario as Abu was transferred). Trust, loyalty and respect help build admiration in a relationship, a friendship and it was difficult for me stay connected to those who I shared a year of time with till my adulthood.

What I've learned from my past experiences; having traveled often in my youth is that we don't find people to fill in our voids, but we learn how to build a home within our own paths of uncertainty. In the end, all of us have a story and we are grateful for the transformation that has taken place. The greatest adventure lies in the relationships we build with ourselves; those who we meet. The celebration will continue. Mita and I will be sharing why choosing the right words and writing your story is of value to bettering your mental and emotional health.

Join us as we connect with our sisterhood to reclaim the feelings when celebrating our individual journeys. I will be opening the floor for sisters to join us and share their achievements these past 5 months. You being here is an achievement. I will be announcing the winner of our incredible SELF-LOVE bundle with 20 other magical womxn. Thank you for all of your participation.

LOVE LETTER WORKSHOP

WOMEN'S WEEK EIGHTEEN - JULY 22nd 2020
Host: Saira Hussain, Love Letter Community Founder
Co-Host: Eniafe Isis Adewale, Writer, Woman of greater inner wisdom
Time: 11 AM EST (Canada & USA).

Welcome back to our sacred community of womxn.
You are here today because you have broken into your wings
.

You are here today because you have allowed the weight of water to fill you.
You have guarded your heart from pain even though those who had given you pain were extensions of your love and life.

For years we have surrounded ourselves with the voices of others and avoided orating the stories within the 4 walls of our homes. It is time to rise out of the well with our powerful words so that we can live our life with sacred reflection. The mirrors of our sisterhood are here to listen. Each of us has a story to tell.

Join the sisterhood this Wednesday. July 22nd to witness the powers of courage so that you too can process the words of your past so that you can make the most of your life's living. Using the power of words, sister and WCW Eniafe Isis has created 'allherwords' by simply telling the stories of other womxn. She celebrates all womxn and encourages us all to do so because no one else knows you better than yourself. If we give time to uncovering our powers, society will no longer soil the fabric of our skin.

We live in a world of polluted thought and control.

Let us share our stories with the womxn wanderers in our community to celebrate our individualities and accept that we too are mirrors of one another. No rank or level exists in this sisterhood. It is simply understood, served, created, manifested with the power of words. If you or a loved one has misplaced the use of her words with the weight of time and excuses, let us reframe our thoughts with the words we choose.

Join us this week to learn how to write our own stories & embrace the power of the divine feminine to encourage our hearts to speak their truths and create the stories we know are real, raw and enough for us.

We are an ever growing community of womxn who are built from strength, compassion and have the capacity to adapt to change. As we enter the eighteenth week of quarantine, I would like to suggest that we all take a moment to appreciate how far we have come. Let us face the patriarchal routines with our feminine powers and decipher new challenges with solutions for our betterment. We must remember that there is a force inside us that has been waiting in our hearts with unconditional love and she has been patient. Let us hear her speak.

'DEAR WORDS..'

Picture

"...this night something, again, spoke to me and told me write. And so, I started writing about Her. This woman, who was not me but a woman like me who was in waters similar to mine but was not losing or drowning. Instead she was gently fighting. Sometimes floating. Sometimes paddling fiercely. At all times finding her way. Keeping herself going. And this is what I needed. I didn't need the "success" story. I needed a mirror. A mirror showing me that it was ok to be in the shadows because, to be there, meant that there was also light (no light, no shadows). I needed to see women finding their way through the valleys. And I saw these exact women all around me but, and because, they were not deemed "influential" or a "celebrity" their stories were harder to hear, their faces harder to see and light harder to find.
And so, this is why She is here. all her words is many things and I intentionally leave her definition open so that you can decide what she will be to you."

- Eniafe

Join us as we connect with our bodies to resurface the act of celebrating our individual journeys. Eniafe and I will be sharing the powers in writing your own story, using the power of your voice without barrier. When you hear her whisper in the darkness, ask her why and she will unveil herself as courage.

LOVE LETTER WORKSHOP

WOMEN'S WEEK SIXTEEN - JULY 15th 2020
Host: Saira Hussain, Love Letter Community Founder
Co-Host: Erin Trealor, Health & Wellness Coach, Woman of Influence
Time: 11 AM EST (Canada & USA).

Welcome back to our sacred community of womxn.
You are here today because you have broken into your wings
.

Good morning womxn of defiance and purpose.

You are here because you have surpassed all challenges.
The scars, uneven skin tone and stretch marks on our bodies are beautiful reminders of our transitions as womxn; bodily changes that have imparted infinite womxn warrior wisdom.

I personally have had difficulty embracing my stomach after entering my relationship as a woman who has been petite all her life. I had my period when I was 13 and was facing many hormonal changes with a community that was not forward thinking about being vulnerable about a women's health or emotional intelligence. I continued feeling disconnected with my body throughout high school and then university. This is where I broke down with depression and chronic anxiety with an added challenge of  financial well-being. My body, my mind and soul had drowned collectively and this was when I said 'NO MORE'.

I took control of the steering wheel of my life where I surrounded myself with womxn who were confident, loved their bodies and had faced an adversity, which lured them into the darkness so they could resurface with courage. I now have reconnected with my body, embracing all my flat plains and curves, stretch marks and cellulite to not define who I am, but to acknowledge that the path is not always linear. My body, your body, our bodies all have a story to tell; embrace your changes to voice them clearly.

I can recall the times when I would hold my stomach in when around friends and wear loose clothing in the earlier stages of high school because I couldn't see myself in the crowd, even though so many other young womxn shared the same story. I allowed the inner critic; the fearful friend to control my anxiety and so became socially distant. The first step you can take to live a greater life is to order a search warrant for those negative patterns and where they arise. Once you have collected the reports, the solution will write itself because you will distance yourself from the fear and neglect where love does not exist.

Erin, founder of Raw Beauty Talks is an incredible woman wanderer who has helped womxn accept their physical changes through holistic body coaching and well-being. Joining Erin on her platform has encouraged me to see the fat on my bones, my flat hips and disportioncate breasts with an abundance mindset. Saying...

'Hey! I love how my body wiggles.
I love how my cellulite fills my jeans and the bunions on my feet because I have worked hard to get to where I am and have walked cities to be where I am.

Erin shares..." I don't place value to my physical differences anymore. It's just there.
It just doesn't define you. It doesn't determine whether or not you are loved.
Cellulite doesn't define me."

We are an ever growing community of womxn who are built from strength, compassion and have the capacity to adapt to change. As we enter the seventeenth week of quarantine, I would like to suggest that we all take a moment to appreciate how far we have come. Let us face the patriarchal routines with our feminine powers and decipher new challenges with solutions for our betterment. We must remember that there is a force inside us that has been waiting in our hearts with unconditional love and she has been patient. Let us hear her speak.

'DEAR SCARS..'

Picture

'The more I've shared the messy parts of my life and the things I've felt the most shame around the more womxn have opened up to me sharing their own insecurities and stories. Raw Beauty Co. has always been as much for me as it is for the womxn who follow me."

- Erin Trealor, Founder of Raw Beauty & Co.

Join us as we connect with our bodies to resurface the act of celebrating our individual journeys. Erin and I will be sharing the values in recognizing your self-worth. When you accept your physical changes, your mind sees endless possibilities in living your greatest adventure; your life.

LOVE LETTER WORKSHOP

Time: 7 PM EST (Canada & USA).

Welcome back to our sacred community of womxn.
You are here today because you are
aware.

Good morning womxn of influence.

Thank you for joining us last week as we recreated a space of celebration for ourselves with our altar. After witnessing our self-worth in our dreams, we have accepted that our journey too needs the fuel of compassion that we so easily give to our loved ones. Sisters! We have written fifteen love letters to ourselves while in our sacred space of reunion. We have shared stories about passion, resilience, courage, bravery and holistic wellness. We are so much more than what we can see in the mirror of opportunities.

How have you been feeling? Having learned the tools of becoming the best version of yourself, have you also been feeling depleted of the energy that was inside you when you first began this journey to betterment? I ask myself this many times and have been in and out of feeling magical; whole, content with my work-life balance. So why is this happening? Why are we feeling a low when we are dreaming of a divine state of being?

'I personally found myself overworked and burnt out whenever I came back from a bridal henna appointment. I thought it was my posture or my incredible and ignorant ability to go on working for five hours without food or water. When I came back recently from a bridal appointment in February, I met my husband and went up to our bedroom. He joined me as I lay there, still, silent and drained. For the first time in twelve years of applying henna, I realized my self-worth, power and ability of energy healing. I knew I had a power much larger than my past understandings, but I didn't perceive it to be true.'  - Saira

We have so generously been aware of the needs of others without realizing that we too need to devote time to connect with love & compassion. As an empath and creature of creativity, wanderer of vast cultural landscapes, I have witnessed the powers of art through therapy. As an empath, my purpose is to encourage women to reconnect with their self-worth. Many of you have sent queries with how art can encourage us to embrace self-worth, which is why I have invited my woman of influence and co-host of the 16th love letter workshop is Tarmim Khan to discuss the powers of emotional intelligence.

What is emotional intelligence and how can we connect with it?

How do we create barriers while being an empath?

Tarmim has used the challenges from her past to rebuild her ambitions, self-worth and confidence in her present life. She now leads a community of students and staff at at an academic institution, but also offers her emotional intelligence coaching services through her social media platforms known as the 'Empathy Queen'. Her story will inspire you, and help you sort out your mess into messages as she says. I cannot wait to have Tarmim join us tomorrow for our celebration of sisterhood at our workshop this week. Sisters, be ready to dive into our subconscious state of being and celebrate your need to connect.

We are an ever growing community of womxn who are built from strength, compassion and have the capacity to adapt to change. As we enter the sixteenth week of quarantine, I would like to suggest that we all take a moment to appreciate how far we have come. Let us face the patriarchal routines with our feminine powers and decipher new challenges with solutions for our betterment. We must remember that there is a force inside us that has been waiting in our hearts with unconditional love and she has been patient. Let us hear her speak.

'DEAR INNER LIGHT..'

'Emotional Intelligence is the capacity to be aware of control and manage emotions and to handle relationships in a healthy and conducive manner, everything we do and everyone we come in contact with involves Emotional Intelligence and we can connect with it by accepting that the journey to personal development is limitless and opening our hearts and mind to learn the knowledge that would be fruitful to our lives!' - Tarmim

Join Tarmim and Saira on July 8th at 7 PM EST as we write a love letter to our inner light. Have an incredible week!

OUR WEDDING STORY - July 4th 2019

In celebration of our one year marriage anniversary this weekend, we are inviting you to our intimate nikah ceremony that we held inside an Airbnb 365 days from today in Schomberg, Ontario. We had 50 of our immediate family members, cousins (here in Canada & some from the States) amongst our closest friends. We always wanted an intimate ceremony from home and so we decided to choose a space that evoked our beliefs & values.

Picture
Picture

Our events began with our intimate maiyon on June 30th 2019, followed by an intimate Nikah on July 4th and finally a Shendi (merge of Mehndi & Reception) on July 5th. This was one of the hottest weekends of the entire year. Our wedding weekend was originally April 6th 2019, but due to unforeseen events, we had to reschedule. Many of you are probably asking why share our story now and that's a great question. Ayaz and I both needed time to reflect on what had taken place and why we felt an emptiness inside of us after what was supposed to be the greatest love celebration of all time.

This blog feature is not to justify our love and what we have learned from the past year of marriage, but to highlight the key values of why celebrate your love even if uncertainty veils your present preparations and drowns your planning guide. What you must remember is why you were getting married in the first place. What is important to the two of you? Does the size really matter? Of course, sending an invitation to your extended family members is essential but would that change the values shared between the two of you? How does the amount of guests at your wedding ceremony or reception validate the love you have for one another?

These queries were the foundation for our journey together.

TO BE CONTINUED..
