A PERSUASIVE DIALECT
ARSHEEN REZA photography | SARAH HUSSAIN direction
Sarah Hussain creates this act by substituting a woman in a, traditionally, South Asian man's role wearing a turban (head piece which is hand made by the Artist herself).
No matter how you see it, I control it. A beautiful narrative based on a model’s conversation with perspective and ideal beauty. The bold gaze set from the model’s masculine posture reminds of us a Mughal prince who was taught to grace his people with a persuasive etiquette presenting his armor.
This would display a highly compensating act of economic wealth and political stature. The off-white blazer presents a striking and bold personality and the turban a symbol of nobility.
