'Where has your mind traveled to?
Together we shall dream into the world of our subconsciousness & lean into the state of eternal happiness.'

LOVE LETTER WORKSHOP

WOMEN'S WEEK FIFTEEN - JULY 1ST 2020
Host: Saira Hussain, Love Letter Community Founder
Co-Host: Farzana Jaffer Jeraj, Entrepreneur, Empath, Polymath
Time: 11 AM EST (Canada & USA).

Welcome back to our sacred community of womxn.
You are here today because you are
resilient.

Good morning womxn of influence
.
Today we welcome you to embrace your mind as we learn to paint with colour.
You have awakened your mind. You are aware of your mind's powers. And you are celebrating your mind with the capabilities to connect & understand your subconscious state of being. For our fifteenth week of writing love letters, we ask ourselves, do we dare to dream?

What do our dreams say about who we are as womxn?

What is dreaming?

How does one connect with the time to dream if they are not already dreaming?

I invite you to a space of self-reflection because the world is changing rapidly. As womxn, we have the innate ability to recognize our voids. When we are overworked, burned out, in search of love that we cannot reclaim ourselves, or even as our body changes, we lose sleep.

Patterns of reacting to stress, anxiety have moulded into our womb space with our memory. We are here today, because we value our sleep and want to dream the dreams we once did when we were young womxn. This week, we learn to use meditation through the practices of meditation, connecting with empathy and compassion to unite with our true self. Farzana Jaffer joins me this week to speak about our sacred sleep.

The values we give sleep are less than those we give to our regime and those who we love. Her coaching program encourages people to understand the need for sleep and how our sleep permeates into our system; our consciousness in making the decisions we do. Let us dive in to the world of meditation and and take a vow to practice patience, breathing and sleeping better. With empathy and silent nurturing, the Goddesses of the Universe continue to weave their powers into our minds to celebrate this great awakening!

Farzana changed my life when I had inquired about her practices and of course, complimented her on her soothing energy and voice. My husband calls her the voice of dark chocolate, if chocolate could speak, it would be Farzana. Incidentally, we were enjoying a piece of Cadbury dark chocolate. It was hilarious when we joined her IG live for the seventh time and he was tuning into a meditation with me. She helped me sleep within 10 minutes of the meditation. I woke up exhilarated with this new method of understanding the values in peace, breath work, mindfulness, being one with my journey and my day's reflection before I slept. She is one of WOMXN WANDERERS and incredible womxn of influence

My woman of influence for WEEK 15 of the love letter workshop is no other woman than Farzana Jaffer Jeraj.

We are an ever growing community of womxn who are built from strength, compassion and have the capacity to adapt to change. As we complete the tenth week of quarantine, I would like to suggest that we all take a moment to appreciate how far we have come. Let us face the patriarchal routines with our feminine powers and decipher new challenges with solutions for our betterment. We must remember that there is a force inside us that has been waiting in our hearts with unconditional love and she has been patient. Let us hear her speak.

'DEAR DREAM..'

Picture

'Through meditation I had my first self-management tool.Gratitude helped me see that no matter how hard things seemed there was always an abundance of positivity around me. In the 90's I had the opportunity to see Tony Robbins, where for the first time in my life I realized that I was beautiful as a person. This awakening crystalized my lifetime desire to work with people..'

'To this day I want every person to understand the beauty of themselves. While the language I use has matured over the years, everything I do comes down to knowing your true self and accessing your infinite potential true self.'

Join Farzana and Saira on CANADA DAY - July 1st at 11 am EST as we write a love letter to our Dreams. Have an incredible week!

LOVE LETTER WORKSHOP

WOMEN'S WEEK FOURTEEN - JUNE 24th 2020
Host: Saira Hussain, Breath of Henna
Co-Host: Misriya Jacksi, Dental Hygienist, Entrepreneur & Storyteller
Time: 11 AM EST (Canada & USA).

Welcome back to our sacred community of womxn.
You are here today because you are powerful.

As womxn, we have grown while in solitude in deeply connecting with our self-compassion through mindfulness in communication, reflection and with our relationship with the self. We have grown so far in these challenging times of uncertainty with motivation with practices evoked from our beliefs, overcoming grief and accepting that life is uncertain. Life is a product of how we connect with ourselves, and our growth; our progress. To say that we are a 'never going to get over the loss of someone', 'to never have the time to heal', 'that you'll never be pretty enough for love' creates an echo chamber of thoughts which will cause more distress over time. These are all negative thoughts. Where do we then take the space and change our responses to life's most challenging events?

My woman of influence for WEEK 14 is Misriya Jacksi who I met 16 years ago.
A woman who has not only overcome life's hardships with her choice of tools, but a woman who is ever changing and has accepted life for its challenges.

ACCEPTANCE is one of the most difficult transitions that we all have to travel through in reclaiming our strengths. Suffering is also a part of life, and everyone suffers or fails in their life because everyone is human. Misriya is a woman who is brave and is a believer in doing the work for the betterment of one's life. It wasn't until she saw the the love of her life fighting between life and death. Her beautiful 2-month old son Hassan passed away in October 2018.

As a human; a MOTHER she needed time to grieve the loss of her child but also needed to reclaim life's purpose with practicing self-care and self-compassion. I invite Misriya to our sacred space of sisters because she, along with all of you is ready to move forward while she sings the voice of her soul. She has elevated herself recently while taking part in the Biz Mixer on social media, is a fashion designer, and exceptional at home dance choreographer. Her spirit uplifts everyone around her and is my truest friend and sister.

'DEAR BREATH..'

Picture

'I am a woman, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother and a friend. I am a dental hygienist and an entrepreneur. I have a passion for storytelling and recently started my blog, "Storytime with Mish". My dream is to start my own international NGO, "HongeraMama", to empower girls and women all over the world, starting with my home country of Tanzania. I enjoy writing poetry, embarking on spontaneous adventures, laughing with loved ones, daydreaming about a world wherein we live in harmony and celebrate one another for who we are. '
- Misriya Jacksi

5 MINUTE WELLNESS ACTIVITY:
from Misriya

Let’s create a (your name) DreamCloud that carries the elements and values
that create “your world”. I highly encourage that you do this activity when
you are feeling inspired to think about your values.

Instructions:
1) Take a blank sheet of paper and a pen (or many colourful markers!),
2) Draw a pretty “Dream” cloud with lots of room inside to write.
3) Put on your favorite thinking music or go to your favorite spot in the
house to find zen.
4) Write “My world” or “My universe” in the centre. Whichever of these
words resonate with you.
5) This is a “no holds barred” writing exercise where you write as if no one
will ever read this, you write as though there are no barriers or ceilings to
what you can achieve, you write as your most authentic self because in
being truthful to yourself, you will uncover the real you.

6) Start thinking about your values and core beliefs. Think about the things
that make you, you. Write words in the dream cloud that represent the
values you have that you are proud of, as well as the ones you strive to
embody. The idea of this exercise is not to separate the heart and mind,
but to in fact spill out BOTH, what lies in your heart, as well as in your
mind.
7) We as humans are heart and mind. When we use the power of the breath
to center ourselves and align our hearts and minds, our dream clouds
have come to life.

'You are here today because you are valuing your reflection.
You are feeling confident within your own skin.'

LOVE LETTER WORKSHOP

WOMEN'S WEEK THIRTEEN - JUNE 17th 2020
Host: Saira Hussain, Breath of Henna
Co-Host: Chika Okoro, Woman of Colour Champion & WCW
Time: 7 PM EST (Canada & USA).

Picture

Welcome back to our sacred community of womxn.
You are here because you are a reflection of your true self.

As we join the hands of universal sisters who have breached the barriers of idealized protection, societal rules and regulations to discover paths of freedom, we are faced to look inwards. Before we can move forward, we must look inwards and have a very difficult but truth provoking conversation with the self.  Only then may we be the true advocates of change where diversity is encouraged between night and day.

When did we allow others to divide and conquer us?
Have we allowed white supremacy, racism to sit beneath our skin, pulsating a vibrationational sequence of segregation in a time where we have more diversity in our foods than in our homes and hearts? As a sisterhood, it is our responsibility to break the peel away the layers of racism, To break down the system and make queries about why skin colour has been associated with life quality, education and beauty. Sisters, my question to you is, How do you perceive beauty? Would you embrace a sister who was darker than you? Next time you push the 'brighten' button as you filter and edit away your natural blemishes, rethink what you are doing. How have you been conditioned to practice colourism? Why have you not questioned the system before?

Now is change. Now is the time to create spaces of power for womxn who are in need of seeing and growing up with womxn who embrace their reflection with confidence. This is why my woman of influence Chika Okoro is here to shine a light on a very challenging and overlooked conversation on colourism. What is colourism? After watching one of my favourites, RED TABLE TALK, I reached out to Chika on instagram just minutes after and had to invite her to share her story on being a woman of colour and how to feel like a champion while embracing your true skin. Let us start being more aware of our own standards of beauty and bring in womxn who are truly diverse and vividly bold, courageous and bare. Let us embrace change and move forward with more womxn of colour and disassociate ourselves from conventional thoughts.

We are an ever growing community of women who are built from strength, compassion and have the capacity to adapt to change.

'DEAR REFLECTION..'

Picture

"I’m passionate about all things women of color and believe it is my calling to inspire Black women to find self-love, self-worth, and experience the healing that enables them to have the confidence to live the full expression of themselves.
Growing up as one of the few Black, and only Nigerian, families in our neighborhood, I often struggled to find a positive sense of belonging and identity. I continued to explore that tension while studying at Harvard where I wrote my honors thesis on race and identity in the Black community amongst Black Americans and Black immigrants."

LOVE LETTER WORKSHOP

WOMEN'S WEEK TWELVE - JUNE 10th 2020
Host: Saira Hussain, Breath of Henna
Co-Host: Devon Dennis, Creator of Brave Spaces
Time: 11 AM EST (Canada & USA).

Picture

Welcome back to our sacred community of women.
You are here because you believe.

Sisters, we have made it through three months of quarantine and have adapted more to change than ever before. We have sent in queries to our hearts from our great minds and held discussions between ourselves and loved ones. We are taking action but also devoting time to our rest and rejuvenation.
We are a species thriving even with the fowel sounds of patriarchy and segregation. We hold to our beliefs of courage to continue our lives with more bravery than before.

To achieve something great in life, you have to be prepared to take proper calculated risks. Knowledge is power and moving forward requires working inwards. We live in a society, which is structured by the media and how we need to protect ourselves and resist change. Change is now. Time for change and taking control of your life is now. When you learn something new about yourself, you build resilience and it boosts your self confidence. It redefines your limits and we learn to enjoy our life with challenges that come our way. We have the ability to embrace change with the power in believing in ourselves. This week, I invite my woman of influence Devon Dennis to share her journey with us. Devon is a creator of Brave spaces, which is why her words are being shared with all of you today, in a time of immense challenges and confrontation we seek women of the divine feminine.

We are an ever growing community of women who are built from strength, compassion and have the capacity to adapt to change.

'DEAR BRAVERY..'

Picture

"I’m a spiritual coach and celebrant here to help you cultivate a greater sense of clarity, freedom, power, and joy as you embark on a new transition or transformation in your life. Changes, including the ones we want to make, are confronting because they present a challenge to our current paradigms. Our limiting beliefs about who we are and how our lives are supposed to work produce boundaries which are constantly obstructing our access to a greater vision of what could be.It is my honor to walk with you into a new way of being that exists beyond the borders, to discover the new possibilities that are waiting for you inside of a life without limits."
- Devon Dennis

Time: 11 AM EST (Canada & USA)

Picture

Welcome back to our sacred community of women.
You are here because you are recreating yourself.

Have you been overwhelmed by social media and the perspectives of the world? This pandemic has created a sense of restlessness that can be seen in our repeated habits where fear leads our minds. We fear this pandemic because we are unaware of the future. With resilience and being vulnerable to seek change and communicate with our communities, we are able to take control of our lives for the better. My woman of influence is no one other than Jessie Arora of Atma Things. She is an incredible spiritual guide and wellness advocate who practices spiritual alignment with the mind, body and soul.

If you haven't met her in person, well then you have definitely felt her presence while adorning yourselves in the moon butters, infused candles, ointments, light for love and moon magic kits. She is a magical woman with an empowering sense of courage and motive to help others heal and grow from within. Jessie is someone who has done the deep work and has enlightened us all by her beliefs in communicating with our Inner Child. By doing so, we can move forward and live our life with our greatest powers.

To the women that have come on every week in celebration of self love, may you continue to blossom into the truest form of yourself. I too grieve, mourn, dance with the inner self and reflect. I too am human. This platform was created in celebration of sisterhood and to provide our emotions with a sacred space for empathetic dialogue.

We are an ever growing community of women who are built from strength, compassion and have the capacity to adapt to change. As we complete the tenth week of quarantine, I would like to suggest that we all take a moment to appreciate how far we have come. Let us face the patriarchal routines with our feminine powers and decipher new challenges with solutions for our betterment. 'DEAR INNER CHILD..'

5-MINUTE WELLNESS ACTIVITY FOR YOU
From Jessie of Atma Things:

Close your eyes, see your inner child in your heart.  What does she look like, what is she wearing, what is her hair like, does she have anything around her.  Take the time to hold out your hand to her.  Communicate with her as though you would with a child that is lost and looking for it's mommy.  I can share with the group specific meditations that can be done to access this heart space.

Join Jessie Arora, Founder of Atma Things & Saira Hussain, Founder of the LOVE LETTER COMMUNITY & our community of women and as we share our stories to increase the positive vibrations emitted by the encouragement of practicing love letter writing and being vulnerable.

***Please note that we will be recording this meeting for our sisters abroad***
