Connections are found in all places. The very lines in a Bridal Henna design reflect community, certainty & characteristic of the hands they adorn. SHALINI
A beautiful, charismatic wife who will probably set your heart racing forever more. Our blessed Bride was the soul that made her sensational D,I.Y wedding come to life! With canary yellow umbrellas, Japanese paper fans and highly saturated colours, this south asian Bride made her dreams come true!
It is sometimes difficult planning a wedding on your own, but with an intimate family attendance, Shalini had her Plan A wedding score a masterpiece. The wedding was simple, fresh and sassy. Never the average Bride but always the one to stand out, Shalini kept her guest count at a minimum because she believed in the values of marriage; friendship, eternal love and growth.
Shalini was referred to us by her Bridesmaid and loving friend Tina. If you need a girl to celebrate, there's nothing better than a golden-brown beauty filled with endless rainbows on the inside - that's Tina! Shalini had originally spoken to us through phone and e-mails. We sought out a very organized consultation as she was a future Breath of Henna Bride. We never let go of a Bride who is certain of what she wants. So very blessed, we were invited to her home in Toronto where we got a chance to consult her future Bridal Design. Here is a gorgeous still from L'atelier Lumiere who we had the pleasure of meeting in Mexico at Shalini's Wedding. It's great networking with fabulous creative souls who are on the same page as you are.
Shalini articulates Art and fashion in everything she does, even when she hikes! Too late men, she's found her match made in heaven. Aylwin is a Creative Director and enjoys the Art in life. His soul is fired up just like Shalini's and was delighted to be a part of our Bride's narrative. Try to find Sheahan in the verses. When creating her first set of compositions (top hands, insides and feet + arm band) we noticed that once we started, we could not let go. Even our abstracted compositions with florals and paisleys reflected Ganesh. It was meant to be!
The final days of Shalini's blessed wedding planning came from the creative juices we had flowing for her decor needed to be spicey! We gave her the idea of letting us direct a simply, social atmosphere on the balcony of her Henna event. We had the chance of hand selecting items with the Bride and she was completely surprised when she saw everything put together. Having the freedom to create at her wedding was probably the best feeling. |
